At each stage, you can freely move your way to the end boss. After every stage, one new hero will join your team. There are very few ways to just remove cards but it’s perfectly balanced around that so there’s nsists of three stages, each ending with a boss fight. You can choose between three to five cards and either add them to your deck or replace it for a different card and while you can’t upgrade cards, you can get runes and attach them to cards (giving them a bonus effect).
